Loaded for Bear do just one simple thing, honestly: we hand-build premium quality braided audio cables to last.

Our mission is to grow and learn. The gap between the people that make cables and the people that use them is often too big. We want to earn the support of our customers so that we can make an impact on the manufacturing process and play our part in developing the use of more sustainable materials in the products we make. This is our dream.
We strive to reach a balance between high quality and low environmental impact, sourcing components and materials that are reusable and/or recyclable. We want to be part of a change in culture and to show that cables are worth investing in – not only for increased reliability and a strong, clear signal chain, but also for our environment and economy.
Loaded for Bear has a goal to function on the model of the circular economy. In addition to building new cables, we will soon provide a remodelling service to revitalise old cables. We will source and accept donations of old cable stock to repurpose in hope of saving as much as possible from landfill and waste recycling processes.
We are transparent about our supply chain, how we run our business, and how we calculate our prices. We will give to charities that support causes close to our heart.
ENVIRONMENT / SUSTAINABILITY
We buy 100% renewable energy and our website is hosted on servers powered by 100% renewable energy.
Packaging is always kept to a minimum and we only use FSC approved, recycled and recyclable cardboard and print using water based inks. We do not include packing slips or unnecessary packing materials.
We are not environmental scientists and claim no authority on material decomposition and waste management. We just know how to make great looking, premium quality audio cables. But we are engaged with the issues raised by the climate crisis and respectful of the living world around us. If you have feedback, comments or suggestions we’d love to hear from you.
