The Griffle

The Griffle is one of two collaboration pedals between Loaded for Bear, UK and Vulk Audio, Norway.

Connecting through Instagram and trading a couple of pedals for cables got us thinking about working together on a project. Kjetil suggested that Loaded for Bear should try out, with his support, a small run of pedals. It didn’t take much convincing and following lots of messing around (on my part) and fun designing the enclosures, we’re happy to release this one knob MOSFET boost and the Fuzz Wump fuzz pedals.

The Griffle is a one knob MOSFET boost that’s capable of providing around 28-30dB of clean gain to your signal. It drives tube amps beautifully and at full level can take them into a world of rich tonal breakup.

Alone, The Griffle draws out and enhances your tone when placed upfront of a tube amp.

Stacked, The Griffle really highlights the voice and characteristics of other pedals and adds in-line tonal control.
